BACKGROUND
The reason founded SIPA was the extreme gaps appearing on the trends of development process in Somaliland that is relatively very low in progression, because of the fact that factors lowering private and public progressive development in Somaliland are combinations of public policies and the practices of Somaliland Government institutions, and those of international humanitarian organizations and international inter-governmental organizations.
The primary focus of SIPA is to support the acquiring knowledge and skills relevant to the performance of national and international policies, legal and institutional regulatory frameworks by building and empowering capacities of human, and institutions in relation to all spheres human rights, democracy, good governance, and development.
SIPA believes that solidarity is the key towards success and actualization of long lasting progressive development, which has pre-requisite of peace and stability in Somaliland.
SIPA is committed to support and actualize to achieve its vision through building capacities and empowering the acquiring knowledge, and technical and administrative skills in all spheres and settings from families, communities, public institutions by building partnership and working relations with all concerned stakeholders.
OUR OBJECTIVES
In order to achieve its vision and mission, SIPA shall pursue the following objectives:
Support capacities of policy,
legal and institutional regulatory frameworks, including delivering the acquiring knowledge, technical and administrative skills of subject matter; To assist provisions of capacity building of relevant knowledge and skills, technical expertise of subject matter in the practices of all key actors;
To support and deliver humanitarian work in accordance of the principles of international humanitarian law, Do No Harm and without condition to humanitarian and development opportunities to the people of Somaliland.
To support and strengthen capacities on the performance of human rights from peace, rule of law, democracy, good governance, justice and development opportunities in Somaliland; and To establish partnership with mandated public institutions, build and strengthen their capacities towards performance of matters relating to their relations and interaction with regional, international inter-governmental organizations.
